With the introduction of methacrylate in 1949–50, a new polymer plastic significantly stronger and lighter than glass, the designer embarked on experiments that led to the creation of this iconic design.

This look so beautiful in my space
I was looking for a simple, current pendant to replace my sink light. I super happy with this one! Its simple but still interesting.
I dont have these hung quite yet, but they will look great over my island. They look just like the picture.
